The Fastest Man
in the World

Born without hands or feet, Tony Volpentest learned to run on carbon fiber blades. He set {{ wrTotalPhrase }}, among them 11.36 for the 100 meters in Atlanta in 1996. He left the track after the Sydney Games in 2000.

The medals are where most people start. The keynotes, the book, and now a feature film are what came after.

His story has appeared on ESPN, CNN and 48 Hours, and in Sports Illustrated and Ripley’s Believe It or Not.
